Amber Frangos is a writer and theater artist currently enjoying grandparent life in sunny Florida. From 2015 to 2025, Amber was the Resident Playwright for Flashback Theater Co. in Somerset, KY.

Amber loves expressing herself through the theater and has directed, acted, and written plays. Her favorite subject for a play is to highlight a historical woman and plait her with contemporary experiences. This is seen in two of her works: Rosies: The Women Who Riveted the Nation and Mary: Her Story. Both pieces have been professionally produced.

When Amber is not writing she’s thinking about writing. But, she will surrender to her chocolate cravings most late afternoons and enjoy a hot cup of black decaf and half a bar of dark chocolate.

Amber holds a BA Liberal Studies California State University, and is a Member of the Dramatist Guild of America.
